Job Description

The Department of Biology at Boston University invites applications for a full-time Lecturer beginning September 1, 2016, renewable based on satisfactory performance.  We seek a colleague with a strong commitment to undergraduate education and a track record of excellence in teaching.  Teaching responsibilities will include two research-intensive block courses during our fall Marine Semester in the candidate's area of expertise and two lecture baed courses in the spring.  The position will involve active engagement in the academic life of the Biology Department and the Marine Program, including opportunities to serve as a research mentor for undergraduates, participate on MA or PhD committees, and contribute to the development of academic initiatives.  

Required Skills

The successful candidate will have a PhD in biology, ecology or a related field and an interest in integrating research into undergraduate teaching.
