CLINT WATERS STUDENT AWARD IN MARINE, ESTUARINE, AND ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES

 

The Clint Waters Student Award in Marine, Estuarine, and Environmental Sciences Current-Use Fund provides merit-based awards for graduate students in the Marine, Estuarine, and Environmental Sciences Graduate Program in the College of Computer, Mathematical, and Natural Sciences.

The Director of the Marine, Estuarine, and Environmental Sciences Graduate Programs will award a scholarship of $2,000 to select recipients on the basis of merit and on the eligibility rules listed below:

To be eligible, the candidates selected for this scholarship must be enrolled in the (MEES) Marine Estuarine Environmental Sciences graduate program and meet the preferred selection criteria:

● Good academic standing in the graduate program

● A cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above

● Chesapeake Bay research related to fisheries

● From the Delmarva Peninsula as defined by the Eastern Shore of Maryland, the Eastern Shore of

Virginia, and/or the state of Delaware [preferred not required]
