Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)
The Ph.D. is a research degree and the highest degree offered by the University System of Maryland. All affiliated departments and universities offer admission to the MEES program leading to the Ph.D.
Master's Degree
The University System of Maryland awards the Master of Science as a professional degree to successful students. (Joint degree programs also are offered in partnership with certain cooperating professional schools.)
